WILLIAM COX I am trying to find any information I can about William Cox born 1873* in London (within the sound of Bow Bells) I have been told. The only info I have about him is that he joined the Army on 4/1/1894 at Woolwich and continued in service until his retirement. He married an ALICE STANDEN in Preston in 1906 and had 6 children, one of them my mother. He does not appear on the 1901 Census as he was abroad with the Army at the time. Any information would be great help as I have had no success in tracing his side of the family. |
