I am trying to find out what became of Catherine Cutting born in Necton, Norfolk , England. She was the Daughter of Walter Cutting c.1855 born Old Buckenham, Norfolk and Caroline Cutting born Livernere, Suffolk 1862 [ She was also a Cutting and probably related, also She was my Great Aunt]
Catherine had three brothers that I know of, Walter 1888, George 1890 and Earnest 1894 all of whom were born in Necton Norfolk.
All that I know of Caroline is that she Emigrated to America leaving from Southampton aboard the S.S.Zealand, 2nd. class She landed on Ellis Island Oct. 2nd. 1920,
If anyone knows what occured after that I would be most grateful.

According to the Ellis Island site she was Catherine Mary Cutting, going to join her brother, no name given, 2237 Weston St., Hartor, California. Her nearest relative at home was father Mr. W. Cutting, "Bank House", Fo???ham, Norfolk.

There was also Frank 1901 and Philip 1906. 10 children altogether so Frank and John appear to be the same person.

Hello MargaretM. Caroline was my Great Aunt, she was born on a farm. My Great grand parents were John and Emily Cutting and they are buried in London Churchyard.
I am in touch with Catherines Grand daughter in California Karen Linderberg, she has lots of photos etc.
I think that they were related through the Wingfield branch but am not quite there yet.

Just realised I put London Churchyard when I should have put Loddon Norfolk. John and Emily Cutting had retired from farming and joined their daughter who lived in Loddon.
