Find Ancestors

My family name is Davies, and have managed to trace family back to at least the 1850, but this is where i get confused. My Great Grandfather John Simon b 1877 in wrexham in wales, he is listed with father Samuel but with two birth dates 1853 and 1857 also born in Wrexham Wales, he married Jane Morris from Llangollen, although i don't know when? He then could have a mother called Mary from Ashton under lyne in manchester but living in wales. She seems to have had 5 children Elizabeth, who i can only find listed once, Sarah who married Henry Jones, John LLewellyn married Sarah?, Ellen who again i can only find once and Samuel. But not sure if this is the same family. Apart from the records centre where do i go from here? Can anyone help.
Ps can find no father of Samuel although occupation is Stone Mason.

You really have to buy birth certificats once things get confusing, no point guessing.

Have you looked on fwww.freebmd,org.uk/ for any of the births or marriages?

I think Samuel's age on the 1881 might be wrong - he would only have been 16 when he married. How do you know Samuel's father was a stone mason?

Same family as in 1871 - parents ages are out, especially Margarets but they are living at the same address - 7 Belle Vue Road. Margaret's POB is now Wrexham, so I wonder if the one is 1881 is a second wife. Also, Anne is listed as granddaughter

I think you should get the certs for the birth and marrige I found above. That way you will know for sure that you are following the right line.
