Help to find an adoption

Can anyone suggest how I can begin tracing an adoption of someone in their fifties who recently found out they were adopted. Her supposed mother told her this believe it or not in an argument. She has no information about her real family at all, and her adopted mother is now deceased. Could she begin with her adopted parents names? Maybe if she supplies their names, could she then find out anything. Any help would be appreciated. |
