hi lookin for info on kate edith davies who was born sep 1879 in bromyard hereford and her two sisters jessie polly davies and annie davies i know kate married richard hill in 1902 and had two sons one in 1903 called richard harold hill and percival reginald hill in 1906 (my grandfather is percival). as for her sisters annie and jessie the records go blank after there births and i'm not even sure that i've got the right birth certificates |

If you have Kate's birth cert then the details on the sisters' birth certs should match - parents' names, dad's occupation (maybe), address (maybe) ... |

parents names were scribbled out by my great grandmother on all birth certs and also the dates that her sisters were born my grandmother was crazy towards the end of her life paranoid schyrenic and so thats why they are scribbled don't know wher e to go from here |

i have her on a marriage cert in hereford marying a richard hill in 1902 and on my grandfathers birth cert but as i said she was paranoid and died in mental hospital and she tried to demolish all record of her and family by scribbling out names and dates |

I think the first thing to do is as Jayne suggested - find Kate on the 81, 91 and 01 census returns. That would probably give you some info on her sisters. If you have the original certs that your gr grandmother defaced then they are probably the right ones - but if they're illegible you may need to order copies. |

do not know fathers name at all that was defaced to i think my great nan was a bit of a nutter lol apparently annie lived as my grandad knew her as he gave my mom the middle name ann because of her |
