i now have a copy of the marrage of my grandad and gran there names are thomas davies and her maiden name was elizabeth hughes they were married on the 25th december 1911 in liverpool her father was hugh hughes carter by profession and my grandads father was named robert davies he was a plasterer by profession both of there fathers were deceased when they married i know thomas had family in wales as that is were his father was from my gran elizabeth had four sisters but i can not find them on any of the census dates can anyone help angela davies

what was elizabeth's mother's name?

if the 1901 is correct one there is a poss 1911 match for elizabeth b1889 in toxteth with mother jane, did search with hugh and got nothing so seems to tally is you say was deceased

have a feeling 1901 is correct since they married at st philemon in toxteth park
1891 also a carter with jane in toxteth park

there is elizabeth bedelia hughes b1889 toxteth park

we really need thomas davies age from the marriage cert and place of birth if known to find him as it would make it much easier


also where in wales was robert davies from?
