Find Ancestors

I believe that Ann or Annie, daughter of John Davies, a seaman and Ann Clark who was born in Glasgow was a sister of my grandmother but I had not heard of her until I found her in the census of 1881 in Liverpool at the address where my great aunt Florence was born,. They had the same mother and father as did my grandmother Maggie Maud. I do not know what happened to Ann and I am still trying to find out more about the parents who are supposed to have died at sea around the south of South America.
Does anyone know about any of them?
