Find Ancestors

I am trying to find something out about my grandmother's family. Her name was Violet Davies. She was born and adopted in 1910 in Llandegai or Bethesda, North Wales. She married my grandfather Llewelyn Gwynedd Davies and they had 7 children. My father always thought her maiden name was Lewis but he recently found his birth certificate and she is down as Williams. He seems to think that her birth family are in America but isn't at all sure. She was very guarded when it came to her family. She had a sister by the name of Margaret (Maggie). Also i would like to know more about my grandmother on my mother's side. Her name was Elizabeth Anne Adams nee Griffith or Griffiths. She died through childbirth when she was about 36. She was born in Treharris (i think) in c1900. She married my grandfather Henry Omar Adams and they lived in Lostwithiel in Cornwall. As my mum was very young when her mother died she can't remember much more.
