I am trying to find family of Mair Wynne Wooliscroft, nee Davies, who married Lawrence William Woolliscroft at St Luke's Parish church, Cannock. She was born in Llandderfel, Merioneth in about 1919 and lived at the Post Office there. Her father, D H Davies was post master and a photographer, maybe amateur, some of his photos being used as local postcards. Mair's uncle was H Watkins of Wallasey and she had a cousin called Megan Ellis. Lawrence had a brother called Harold F Woolliscroft. Lawrence had been in the RAF during the second world war. She and her family were close friends of my mother, Doris Roberts and her family and I have several photos of Mair. |
