Looking for any descendants of David Davies of Llansawel, Carms who married Eliza Jane Wellings in Newport 31/5/1887. David was a tailor/draper/ innkeeper for a while at the Red Lion, in Llansawel, Carms. They had 3 children that I know of, George Frederick Davies, born 16/5/1888, Thomas Christopher Davies born 25/12/1889, my grandfather, and Mary Jane Davies born 28/12//1890. There may be links in the Brynamman, Carms area. I know David Davies was at the Red Lion Inn, Llansawel in 1901 but I would like to know where he went after that, and if possible where he died. Also his wife Eliza Jane Davies (formerly Wellings). |
