I am looking for details of my Gt Gt Grandfather JOHN DAVIES. I have the marriage certificate of his daughter SARAH JANE DAVIES ( My mother thinks she was called JENNY) when she wed MORGAN LESLIE ELLIS in June 1895. She was 27 at the time . They were married at ST. LUKE'S CHURCH in THE PARISH OF ST. LUKE,GLOUCESTER. MORGAN was an'Eating House Proprietor' residing at 1, LINDEN ROAD (presumably in Gloucester) and SARAH JANE DAVIES lived in SOUTHGATE STREET. Her Father was recorded as being a fishmonger. SARAH JANE herself was born in LLANDISSEL, CARMARTHENSHIRE, WALES. With the surname of Davies I know it will be a tough job. If anyone has any information it would be much appreciated. |
