I am looking for the families of Walter William Davies born about 1901 and Phoebe Elizabeth Holmes born about 1912. They married at Grimsby in 1934. Walter was a soldier in Darlington, he later went to live in Rednal, Worcester. Phoebe was born I think in Norfolk, her Father was Arthur Holmes a Skipper. She had a sister Eliza who married a Robert Cammish, they lived in Scarborough. Phoebe met a Geoffrey Cooke possably in York and went to live in his home place in Hereford. She then went back to her parents in Grimsby. Phoebe was my Grandmother so any information on her or the people mentioned connected to her will be gratefully received. Thank you. Trixie |
