Grandfather FREDERICK DAVIES Born c1915 in Wales Great Grandftaher ALBERT DAVIES deceased by 1937. Please contact me if either above fit into your tree. My Grandfather Fred left Wales and his family behind in 1935/6 and moved to Slough for work. He met and married my Grandmother Yvonne Brown in 1937. The marriage cert names Frederick's father as Albert Davies, Miner, deceased. Fred and Yvonne had two children Maldwyn and Gloria. Apparently Maldwyn was named by Fred's mother in Wales! Could be a family name or a place name Can not match a birth of a Frederick Davies between 1914-1916 (using his age from the marriage cert) with the fathers name as Albert. Desperate to find out family history, have hit a brick wall!!!! Wales is a large place. Do not know if Frederick had any siblings either or his mothers first or maiden names. |
