Trying to find Davies

I am trying to find info on my dad Stanley Davies. He was born about 1922, probably in or near Swansea, South Wales. He died in 1958 in Weymouth, Dorset, UK I know his dad was a "Mr D Davies" according to the death cert. I remember Stan's mum was a "Mrs M. Davies" I also remember that when I visited Swansea in the 1950's, when I was about 7 or so, that I would see Stanley's brothers there. I think their names MAY have been, Glyn, Ivor, Cyril, perhaps an Arthur, etc. One of them definitely had a 'wooden' (false) leg. At the time of Stanley's death, his dad was living at 18 New St, Swansea. I lost contact with them all when I was 10, and went to live with my maternal grandparents. I am having difficulty getting a birth date, or birth certificate. Does anyone know this family at all?? Thank you. Richard Davies. |
