Trying to find Davies

I am going back to the 1860/70s when my great grandfather married my great grandmother in St Georges parish church, Kendal,Westmoreland. (as it then was)He was Ellis Jones and she Rebecca Thompson. They had four sons, Arthur,William,Alfred and Frederick and one daughter, Edith who was my grandmother. My grandmolther married William Davies of Rhondda,S. Wales. I know the family history from then on but would like to find out more about Ellis and Rebecca's families previous to their marriage and also of my grandmother's brothers and their families.
