William DAVIES, born c1835 in Winsford, Cheshire, married Ann SIMM in 1856 at Holy Trinity Church, Downall Green, Ashton in Makerfield, Wigan, Lancs. I've seen the transcription of the marriage certificate, which states William's father as Thomas. I'm having no luck whatsoever in tracing Thomas, or his family. Does anyone have access to records of churches in Winsford, which could help me find this family? Regards, Eric Winstanley
