I am looking for my uncle Bill Davis or any of his relatives. His sister Mary Armstrong Smith Davis Mckee was my mother and I last saw him when he came to 48a Orchard Street, Glasgow to tell my mother Mary that their mother Elizabeth Davis (who I believe was called Lizzie and was 62 when she died) of 728 Shetleston Road had died that morning, roughly 57 years ago. His wifes name was Katherine and he was living in the Toll Cross area, Shettleston, Glasgow. I remember before marrage he lived at 728 Shettleston Road with his mother and may also have lived in Carntyne. His mother was buried in Sandymount cemetry. His work was to do with metal and I would love to hear from him or any of his relatives or just anyone that has any information on him. |
