Paul can apply to see his adoption records at the local council, these will give birth mother details and much more

Paul,

I will help you all I can. I have recently been down the same road looking for my birth mother. Initially you need your original birth certificate, this will give you her name (probably unmarried) your name at birth, her address and the hospital that you were born.
