Don Westcott Trying to trace any link with an Annie Davis - my paternal Grandmother - born 1864 in Clapham, London, although sometimes shown as born Somerset. Her father's name William Davis, mother Mary Ann nee Oakford. Also Alice Mary Davis, born 1855 in Road, Somerset. Father John Davis. These two ladies were married to two brothers James and Thomas Westcott - 1880 and 1890 respectively. Family folk lore says that these two ladies were sisters but facts as above seem to disagree. In particular, I would like to trace more info re Alice Mary and her family in Road, Somerset. Thanks Don Westcott |
