Buried with my Grandparents, James and Emily Oldfield, is a man named William Davis. It says on the grave that William Davis fell in France in 1916, but why he is buried with my Grandparents, I have no idea. Perhaps he and my Grandfather were comrades-in-arms. The grave is in Witton Cemetery in Birmingham. obviously, William was either wounded or killed in 1916, and brought to Birmingham to be buried. Has anyone got any clues??? |
