Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me

My great, great grandmother was EMMA DENNIS b 1863 partner was JOHN WOOD of EDENHAM, LINCS B 1848 (mother and father were Jane and Charles).
I am having difficulty finding their marriage, if they married at all; on the 2 census' 1891 and 1901 it says they are married?? perhaps the record of the marriage isn't available currently online??
I have searched and searched looking under emma's motehrs maiden name and variations of Dennis and Wood but no luck.
I have them in the 1881 separately and tehn together in 1891 census so 10 years between they met somewhere (maybe Luton or in London area, 1st son was born in the district of marylebone)and married (possibly?) and by 1891 they were living in Kensington.

if anyone has any ideas or can help in any way with my search i would be most grateful
