I am trying to find any information about a James Dennis b1901 in lambeth ,he was brother of my father Henry b 1898 to Clara Dennis who lived at Shepherdess Walk ,apparently unmarried. My father was abandoned by her in 1900.I have come to a dead end and would like to know more.

Where would Henry have been as he was born before James?

Florence, thankyou for messages about my father and his mother and brother. Dad never had a birth certificate and when he was due for an old age pension he wrote to Somerset house and they estimated his birth as 1898 so he could well have been born in 1868.you help is appreciated many thanks pipd.

Because of the connections above, that is my reason for believing that your Clara Dennis is not connected to these families.

This one looks interesting! Age is a liitle out, but not enough to worry about, and she is born in Westminster which is really close to Clerkenwell where Clara Dennis says born in 1901.
