I have her parents to be SAMUEL DENNIS and ELIZABETH ?.mARY DIED 20 APRIL, 1862 BARROW UPON SOAR, LEICESTERSHIRE. She married my 4x grandfather THOMAS DARBY the 26 dec, 1809 barrow upon soar.They had about 13 children together.ELIZABETH DARBY,WILLIAM DARBY,MARTHA DARBY,ANN DARBY,MARIA DARBY,ELIZA DARBY, JOHN DARBY(MY 3X GRANDFATHER),THOMAS DARBY,ELIZA DARBY,HARRIETT DARBY,SARAH DARBY,THOMAS DARBY and DANIEL DARBY.

Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 19 Send Message	Hi Charlotte, This is probably of no use to you, but my grandmother was a Dennis (father- William Alfred b:1866) and the Selby family were related somehow. The only name I have from that time is Ida Selby and have no more details, but she would have been born late 1800's. My Dennis family was in Dorchester at that time, but the Selby's had a farm in Dorset somewhere. Family is now in New Zealand. Not sure if the relationship with the Selby's was the Dennis side or from my g.grandmother who was Elizabeth Joan "Bessie" (nee Guppy) Sue
