Hi I am tracing the Edwards family from Sunderland Durham tyne & wear. My gr gr grandad was edward Edwards born in 1902 he married an Elizabeth Dunn in Gateshead. Edwards father Robert Edwards was born in Sunderland in 1858. I can not seem to find out who Roberts Father or mother were or wether he had siblings. Please can anyone help. Some of the family moved to Canada Ontaria in the early 1900s but some are still in Sunderland can any one help Please Thankyou Tina & John Edwards

Have you got Edwards birth cert to give mothers maiden name. Amarriage cert for Robert should hopefully give fathers name which might help to find him on a census

Dear Janice Yes that is the family Robert was a bottlehouse labourer in 1891. He married Eleanor Nicholson born 1865. But I can't seem to find his birth cer tificate or marriage certificate. regards Tina .
