I am looking for some information on a Mary Ellen Edwards who was a servant and lived in north Wales. She had a daughter Gwen born in May 1908, Gwen may have been a twin and was adopted by Edward Edwards and Mary Jane Edwards.
Gwen was born in Denbeigh and moved to the Wrexham area with her adopted parents.

May I strongly suggest that the discussion be continued here and not in the two other vague threads.

Just paid attention -- looks like that one may have had a brother in the same household:

And so this looks like them in 1891 in Denbigh:

Mary Edwards 32 - born Llanrhaiadr, Denbighshire, Wales
Mary Ellen Edwards 7
Robert Edwards 5

The address from Gwens birth cert in 1908 would maybe help too.

So would the 1911 census! Grr. When are you going to make them add Wales, Vivo?

There are two MARY E EDWARDS marriages in St Astaph after 1908.

The one in 1910 is missing a groom from the list, of course.
The one in 1914 is to Hughes, but the groom isn't transcribed yet!

If the bride's age and father on one of those certificates matched up with the household above, that would be nice.
