Find Ancestors

A.E Edwards was present at the death of my grandfather George Arthur Britten in 1936 in Lincoln. Their address was given as 229 Marlborough Avenue,Hull.
Trying to ascertain who this person was in relation to my grandfather.
Any info would be much appreciated

The easiest way I can think of would be to look at the electoral register for that address - with luck others might be there and you might get the first name too. If lucky someone might be able to look for you, or you should be able to get a search done.
I just googled "hull electoral register archives" and some relevant sites popped up.
"Hull City Council : Family history guide" looks like a very useful site.

Have you ruled out the possibilities of family members? Nieces, nephews, cousins etc.?

Have spotted George's death. He was 62 so born about 1874.

This may be his birth, hence the north-east connection??
