Ann
Because Catherine is listed as widow she has not entered how many years married!

However on the original you can see where she has erased number off children and it it is quite faint but looks like: 6 children born 6living & 0 deaths

Hi june,

I am not too hot on Lancashire records, as you can see you now have actual birth dates and baptism dates for 4 of the children.

For me and my searches the parents usually baptised their children in the church they married (of course unless the parents moved counties)

Below is not the case being St Nicks for marriage and St peter for baps, just noticed your granpa had a private baptism.

PS I live in Wales so dont tell me about all the Jonses edwards Davies etc!! lol

Hi june,

The 1871 census is only a suggestion!! for future reference, it may not be her, it is a very common name, but a possibilty as the birth year and birthplace match.

As for the PRIVATE baptism, this would probably be that the child was poorly at birth.......meaning the vicar would have gone to the house to baptise him......just in case the worst happened.

I have a subscription so no credits.....already paid!
