Looking for any desc of Stephen EDWARDS born Somerton Somerset about 1810. He married Margaretta COGGAN and they had one son Frederick Joseph who was born in Somerton 1841. Margaretta died in 1842 and Stephen just vanished. In the 1851 census Frederick is living with his maternal grandparents in Somerton. Then he also vanished. Stephen is the brother of Thomas and James (see my 2 previous messages) Lynda

Hi Lynda,
I too have a few Coggans in my tree, going back a long way. I know they are not the same ones but have u tried looking on family Search.org website??
It's the mormons website and it's free and there's alot of Coggans (Coggin) on there. The spelling varies abit. Ive just been on there myself for my rellies.
Good Luck.
Jane.

Why are u commenting on both my posts??? Im just replying to them asking for help. I don't know what a thread is. Whenever ive put messagres up for help in the past, i get an email sent to my home email and it tells me someone has responded so that's what i thought would happen to them.
I certainly wouldn't answer someone elses conversation if it was nothing to do with me. I don't understand why you are involved.
