Does anyone have a Emily Edwards born in 1881 in Oldham in their tree? Her parents were William Edwards born in Lancashire around 1854 and Elizabeth Kneebone born in Cornwall. I have been able to obtain details on the Kneebone family but have drawn a complete blank on the Edwards side. Emily had siblings Amy born in 1878,William born 1882, Charles born 1884 & John born 1886. It appears that both of Emily's parents died before 1901 so it is possible that the children were separated. Emily appears in Hazel Grove around 1901 and married John Talbot Brown in 1904 but sadly died in 1919. If this rings any bells with any one I would be grateful for any information. |
