Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	My mother has a marriage certificate for Charles Edwards and Sarah Dowdney who married on 19th August 1822. Despite no end of trying I can't find out how they are related to me! Does anyone out there know anything about these 2 people i.e. who their children, grandchildren were? Any help would be greatly appreciated to explain why this certificate was handed down through my family. Thanks, Alison

They had robert DOWDNEY who had 8 children only 1 boy who is solomon sidney DOWDNEY who had three boys one who is my grandfather ian peter alexander DOWDNEY. I can send more info if you want. I can not tell you how edwards relates unless she re married after her first husband died and that is why it is sarah DOWDNEY still. Hope this helps Jemma
