Trying to find Edwards

Hi, my name is Janette and I am new to this site. I am having difficulty in locating any of my father Thomas Patrick Edwards(D.O.B.07/01/1928), family. He was the second eldest of 8 brothers, John, Thomas, James, Frank, Anthony, Michael, Peter & Donald. Their parents were John & Elizabeth Edwards Nee Round. They lived at 48 Top Street, Hemsworth, Yorkshire. My father left home and joined the army in 1948. He met my mother while based in Scotland and lost touch with his family. His father's parents lived at Lilac Avenue Longford lane, Cannock and had 2 sons Harry and John. His mother's parents came from Hemsworth area and had 4 daughers Alice,Esther, Rose & Elizabeth. I would really like to hear any news on my uncles and there families. It would be wonderful if I could find them. Any information would be gratefully received. Regards Janette Pettinger |
