Trying to find out what happened to my great-aunt Ellin Jones b 1855 Llanllechid. Ellin was the illegitimate daughter of Jane Jones (b Llanllechid 1836), and was born before Jane married Edward Edwards (b Llanwrst 1826) in 1857. The last record of Ellin was as Ellen Edwards in the 1871 Census living in Llanllechid with Edward and Jane Edwards, and all attempts to locate her in future census or marriage or death have been unsuccessful. |
