I think he was born in the Llanrwst area of Gwynedd in North Wales in 1912.He had brothers called William and Bert, and sisters Lily,Rosie and Julia. I have found through Genes,a copy of his marriage certificate, and his death certificate, but there is no record of his birth. Can anyone help? |

If his marriage certificate names his father, you could use that as a checking point when ordering a birth certificate. |

True, Gwyn ... unless his mother wasn't married and the birth is the one I cited. |

Unfortunately Dianne doesn't seem to be too interested in sharing any more info she may have -- if she knows all the kids' names, doesn't she know a parents' name? I suspect that what she has found isn't "a copy of his marriage certificate", it's the record of the marriage registration. What is needed is the marriage certificate, indeed. |
