Born as Alexa Mai Coker in Richmond Qld 1929, married Bernard Charles Evans Katherine NT Austrailia 20th June 1953.
Bernard Evans was born in Atherton Queensland Australia & his fathers name was George Evans, he possibly had a brother named Len Evans.
Alexa & Bernard may have also had a son named Nigel born in Katherine NT around 1953?

Not sure what you mean by "1953 onwards", but if you mean SINCE 1953, have you checked the White Pages Australia for both QLD and NT. Also, newspapers.

However, if you mean Family History PRIOR to 1929, do you know the name of Alex's parents? If so, you could check with the QLD BMD and go from there.

....also you could contact the 'National Library of Aus' (Canberra) it has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (on-line)...they will check their records including electoral rolls/newspaper death notices. .....Valerie (WA)

Could this be Bernard's father (and mother Louisa) from WWI records at http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/recordsearch/index.aspx ?

Evans Bernard Charles : SERN DEPOT 1284 : POB Warwick QLD : POE Cairns QLD : NOK W Evans Louisa

Her maiden name was GALLIOTT and they married in 1895 in Qld (reg C2064).
