Find Ancestors

I am trying to locate the family of James Arthur Evans born 1908 Ystrad Glamorgan who married May V Andrews 1934/5 Thanet Kent. James and May Evans have one son that I know of Daniel J W Evans b 1935 Thanet Kent. I believe that the family moved to London?? in the late 1950s. Regards

Thank you Freewheel for the details of the death of Daniel J Evans..If I sent for the Death Certificate would it give me details of Daniel Evans Family . What other avenues are available to search to locate Daniels family. Cheers Allan

I would send for the death cert as it may have a family name on it to help,a wife or child as the informant?
An address?
It would be a start anyway.
If so we may be able to help more,but with an Evans it is very difficult.

If you send for it come back here with the details and we will try for you.

The death cert will tell you where he died, his last address, the cause of death, his occupation, and the name and address of the informant - who may be a relative. This relationship (if any) would come under 'qualification'.

It will also tell you his place of birth - if known by the person registering the death.

My husband's death cert (August 2009) also states that he was 'the husband of' (my full name)...........not sure when that info started to be added to death certs for males

Thank you Freewheel for your reply...I was disappointed that there was no information that would allow me to further my research it looks like Daniel did not marry and did not have any siblings....I looked for a marriage but could not satisfy myself that Daniel Evans married. I could find no other siblings in the birth entries and this would co -incide with the family information that I have. Rene May Slater may be an Aunt as his mother was May Victoria Andrews who had a sister Rene. I located a Rene Mae Slater b 1914 who died 2003 Winchester Hampshire age 89 years...Kind Wishes and Thank you for your HELP Merry Christmas
