I am trying to find out with not much luck the ancestors of
Thomas Evans born 1823 at Welford (Boxford) Berkshire I can trace him back to 1851 on the census but no further
I have been thro the the parish records for the Welford Area but I cannot find out who his parents are, or even if they came from that area.
Did he have any siblings? where did they come from before 1851

Can anybody help please

Getting the certificate will give you his father's name and occupation, which will assist in searching back.

There is another marriage of a Thomas Evans marrying in Hungerford in 1849, but I thought Newbury closest.
