Trying to find details of the life of DAVID EMLYN EVANS believed to be from Treharris, Wales. Married to Margaret Phoebe White in 1912 in Merthyr Tydfil, they had 1 child, Edward Glyndwr Evans b 19 March 1913 in Nelson, then the family emigrated between 1913-1914 to USA where a second child was born, Edith Mary Evans in Salt Lake City on 28 Dec 1914. Sometime before 1917, David Emlyn Evans separated / divorced his wife and returned to UK alone. He died on Christmas Day 1967 in Treharris,Wales. Can anyone throw any light on his life in Wales after he returned? Did he marry again and are there children? What was his occupation? If there is anyone with knowledge of Treharris and its people, any info would be appreciated. Many thanks. |
