Looking to find relations and connections to ELIAS EVANS born Llanfihangel cardigan in 1843 the son of LEWIS EVANS a weaver and MARY ANN EVANS moved to Stepney East London where he had a tailoring business just off the Mile end road His wife was also Mary Evans ( nee Evans ) they had 3 children MARY A E EVANS born SHOREDITCH 1873 DAVID L EVANS born 11 July 1870 also Shoreditch and my Grandmother MARGARETTA MAUD EVANS born 20 Feb 1875 at FAIRBANK St SHOREDITCH she had 2 or 3 children prior to her marriage to my Grandfather in 1908 1 he addopted RUTH EVANS but he knew nothing of the others but one of the boys was suposedly killed by a bomb dropped by a ZEPPELIN the sister I know nothing of and the younger Brother I am told married in the 1930s my grandmother attended the marriage with Ruth but unbeknown to my Grandfather ANY CONNECTION SOUGHT |
