Find Ancestors

EVANS/DAVIES I am looking for any relatives of David Ronald Evans my father. He was born in the Rhondda on 9th November 1917. His father's name was John Evans and his mother's name was Elizabeth Mary Evans (nee Bowen). My father's grandfather was called James Evans and his mother's mother and father were called Mary and Thomas Bowen. He had 2 sisters and a brother, one sister was called Olwen. The family home was 30 Bronllwyn Road, Gelli, Rhondda. My father moved to Carmarthen and was brought up by his aunt and uncle, and took on their name Davies, although they didn't legally adopt him. He married Rachel Rees in January 1950. All his working life he worked in Cefn Coed Hospital in Swansea as a Charge Nurse, except for a break in the army. He died in July 1988. I would be grateful for any information as I have little or no knowledge of my father's family. Please reply by email.Thank you.
