William Evans was born in Llanilar in c 1838 son of Jenkin and Jane he was involved in choral music and did many eisteddfodau, his bardic name was Alaw Afan. If anyone has a connection i would be delighted to hear from them.

Our William had two daughters named Mary Marion Evans and Kate Evans and a son who lived in belfast. William was my great grandad is this relavent to any thing you have got so far Regards Rosina
