Trying to find parent/siblings of Harold Evans c1850.
Possibly Wales, maybe Manchester.
Husband of Mary Turner c1850 (also a mystery).
Father of Harold and Lillian.

Found a Harold Evans born abt 1872 in India in the censuses, so looked at

I dont think that information matches, but its possible...
Harold and Lillian grew up in manchester, they had 3 other siblings, robert, martha and Eliza, all 5 were born between c1870 and 1884.
The information I have is all from my grandad, no census used.

The actual birth dates are what's wanted Ben -- that's how people can be found in censuses, which is how info about people can be found so people can be tracked back through censuses ...

You haven't done that I guess, but anyone trying to help you is going to have to.

Do you have the birthdates of the children named? Even who was oldest and who was youngest?

Taking 1881, there just aren't any Evans children in Lancashire with parents Harold and Mary, and no Harold with wife Mary to match.

No Harold in Lancashire, born 1845-1855, with wife Mary, who looks anything like Evans.

No Harold Evans - Mary Turner marriage 1860 to 1880. No Harold Evans - Turner marriage, no Harold Evans - Mary marriage.

Something about the information you've been given just isn't right, so it really wouldn't do much good for anyone to keep trying to hunt things down based on that information.

Lillian Evans was born in 1884 and died in 1946. That is information which I know for sure, her siblings is a little more shaky, but: Harold c1870, Robert c1872, Martha c1876, Eliza c1880.
