Interested to hear from any Faulkners or anyone knowing of any Faulkners who lived at Hammonds Green, Totton, Southampton

Hello, my maiden name was Faulkner but research was difficult when we tried to go from Australia back to Ireland. It turns out my ancestors got on the boat in Ireland as FAUGHNANs and got off in Oz as FAULKNERs - perhaps there was a problem with the Irish accent and someone's spelling ability. Perhaps if you widen your search to include such spelling variations you might have some luck as we did.
