Martin only appears on the 1911 census and theres no birth reg for a Martin either

Many thanks to all of you that replied to my query.

I have got the information as printed in the 1911 census but unfortunately cannot find him anywhere else. I am so disappointed about this as my grandfather was Thomas Faulkner and as with Martin cannot seem to find any trace of them previous to the 1901 census that can be verified. I am desperate to discover my Grt. grandfather but unfortunately seem to be at the proverbial brick wall. Many thanks once again for taking the trouble to contact me.

I just haven't found Martin Faulkner/Falkner /Davis in 1901.
