Trying to find Faulkner

My Great Grandfather was William or Frederick Faulkner the reported son of the founder of W & F Faulkner tobacco company which was named after my great grandfather and his brother. He had an illegitimate daughter called Lilian (my grandmother) and my great grandfather supposedly went on to have two sons with another woman. My great Grandfather had a brother and they joined forces to continue the tobacco company. They merged with another company call Adkin & Sons which was formed at Ratcliffe Highway in 1775 . They then went on to form part of the Imperial tocacco company and my grandmother always talked about being the daughter of a tobacco baron. If anyone has any information on any relatives on the faulkner side I would be very happy to hear from them. |
