George Firmin C1849

Hi, here is another one I am struggling with.

I have a George Firmin C1849 listed on 2 census returns as being born in either Stratford or Brentwood so definitely an Essex lad but settled in Southwark area

1891 address 51 Marcia Road
1881 Census 59 Ripley Street

He married a Jemima Davies and their children are mainly born Newington or St Saviours.

Children I have are George William Robert Arthur Emma Mary John and Rose

On GenesReunited there appears to be a fair few Firmins that go back to Essex, Fordham in particular, but so far none seem to tie in with my tree. If anyone has info on his origins I'd be really pleased. My maiden name was Firmin and in some ways this is the line I would like to trace most. My Grandfather married a Wetheridge and I seem to have LOADS of them ;o)

Thanking people in advance :o)
