Have done, none listed.
I dont list my entire tree on here, and am hoping other people may do the same.
Is a mystery man than I need closure on.

Have you trawled the full bmd index in search of a death?

Karen

Karen Report 8 May 2009 16:02

I have, yes.
Am hoping that I have missed it because I cant seem to find it.
I plan to re-search through it.

I was going to suggest possible emigration, but at 73+, that seems unlikely............

Have you traced his wife through to her death?

Karen

Karen Report 8 May 2009 17:01

I thought about emigration too, but as you said, age doesnt really suggest it, and as far as I am aware, no family abroad.

She died in 1968, she is listed as his wife, not his widow (not conclusive I know), he is not mentioned in her death notice in the paper, nor did he witness her death, or purchase her grave
She is buried alone in a 2 person grave.
