Londonbelle, apologies. Polly got that info from 1901 census. I would love to know where Henry came from.

Fred Gardner (age 3 here) was my Grandfather. He died before I was born so I never knew him although I located his grave recently with the help of Newcastle Civic Centre x

Have you got Henry & Kate's marriage cert? If so what is Henry's father's name and occupation and what age was given on the cert for Henry?

I have a y.o.b of 1870 but not sure where I got it from. It's possible I just worked back from the info on 1901 census.
