Hi there, I am wanting to find more about myself, I was born Gloria Joan Gardner, 26/11/1947. My Father was Charles Edward Gardner, he was born in Howlong New South Wales, Australia , on 1st. May 1923. His Father, my grandfather, was William James Stewart Gardner, he was born in 1884 and died in 1955, and is buried in the Wodonga Cemetry. My great grandfather was James Stewart Gardner, and my great , great grandfather was Robert Martin Gardner. He was born in Perth Scotland, he later lived in Dundee before coming to Australia as a seaman, where he jumped ship in lure of the goldfields.He married a Sara Fitzwater. Robert died in Corowa. New South Wales, Australia in 1918. I would like to fid others who may still be in Scotland that are related to him please, others who are related to me in anyway.Thank you, Gloria Whitfield (nee Gardner.) |
