Trying to find Gardner

Hi everyone, I am absolutley at my wits end! I am trying to trace a Jane Harris Gardner born c1841. She was born in Tadmarton, Oxford. Her parents were George Gardner and Mary Ann. She had a son, William Maynard Harris in 1866. This is where things get complicated! I cant find Williams father. It looks as though she used her middle name as her and her sons surname after she had him. I found her later on married to a Thomas Coleman, with several other children, but there is a whole chunk of her life missing when she had her son. Between 1851 and 1881 she seems to dissapeare. If anyone can shed some light on this mystery, I would be eternally grateful. Thankyou, Suzanne |
