Lindsey Report 19 Feb 2006 02:57

Hello; My G G Grandfather was Daniel Taylor Gardner (or Gardiner, we are not sure which spelling as his son is shown as the latter); he was a ropemaker, born in Stonehouse, Berkshire. He married a Miss Sutton, and they had a son Thomas b in 1832 who was a cobbler. I have found Thomas as a married man, with his wife Charlotte, and 5 of their 6 children in the 1871 census, before the went out to NZ in 1875. I would dearly love any info on Thomas's siblings, or Daniel's siblings as I cannot find anything further in the census info. Charlotte was Miss Neal beofre her marriage, and she had a sister Sarah, who went on to marry a Mr Winter. Their father was James. any help would be wonderful regards, Lindsey
